I had several problems with my 307, so much so that I had to get rid of it after a year. the shortest amount of time I have ever had a car, I was lucky to be able to get rid of it!

1) Multifunction display faded in warm weather. Replaced under warranty the first time the second time peugeot did'nt want to know, telling me that I had to take it in when the weather was warm and the fault occured, which was a little difficult to get to a garage at the drop of a hat plus it had to be booked in and i cant tell what the weather will be like a fortnight tomorrow! . (more like the service manager cant fix it because a new display will do the same) I expect more from a £16k car.

2) Rear axle bent!!! Noticed when cleaning the car that the rear tyres were wearing on the outside but not on the inside. Took pug ages and ages to decide what they were going to do. Could it be adjusted? shall we fit a new axle? it went on for weeks!!

3) Car ran away on the handbrake!! Pug tested the car and could find no fault (what a suprise)!

4) Antiroll bar linkage went on the front causing knocking when cornering.
Thats it car has to go.

I will never ever buy another pug. I could have made a better job of an airfix kit than pug made of putting the 307 together. Also they're customer service leaves a lot to be disired! (what customer service).

My dad always warned me not to buy french but i thought i'd give them the benifit of the doubt. What a mistake!!

The 406 coupe?
Seen one in my local dealers when i took my NEW (non Pug) motor into show them what a real car is like.
The price tag of £32k is a bit OTT. Also if you get close enough to one, have a go at opening a door, but bring a mate to help you. They way 3 times the weight of a door on a 3 door 307!!

They feel like a solid block of steel. Dont like them myself, will stick to my hyundai coupe. Pity about the badge these days as they have come a long way Smile
